Here is the latest corporate commission for Olivia Boutique 632 Rancho Shopping Center, Los Altos, California. Olivia has a beautiful shop; carrying an exquisite line of contemporary Italian fashions. She just returned from Italy on a buying trip bringing back the fall collection.  The timing is perfect to bring in the fall collection with her two new nine foot commissioned paintings.

I have included the before and after photos of her boutique.

I was commissioned to paint two 9 foot paintings, one male and one female, both artistic nudes. I built the gallery wrapped canvases and I'm quite happy with the modern Italian feel the adds such a touch of intriguing tension to the adjacent walls with these cool nudes resonating a soothing style to an already perfect shop.

Here is a peak at a recent commission. The theme is Roman with the collector's cat

in the foreground archway with ladies in chariots in the middle ground and the hills of Rome in the background. As you can see I'm in the beginning stages of the painting. It is only when I create detailed commissions that I draw first, thumbnail sketch & on canvas. When I paint for ebay I approach the canvas free from all constraints of a drawing and draw with paint while developing my concept. But for commissions it is a more traditional approach so my client & I have a clear focus on the concept and layout.  As I progress I will post new updates to this painting. My collector always sees the progress first. Once in awhile I have some collectors who tell me exactly what they want and just turn me loose, again this is a different approach to the project.

Here is a photo of the star model.
